This is mantra my husband Shane and I strive for in our daily lives.

Hello! My name is Alice Koh and I am the creator of this FoodTravelFamily website. The name epitomizes everything we are passionate about. Our love for food, travelling and our extended families and good friends.

In this website, you will find my journals on our travels and family. I plan to document my mom’s Peranakan Nyonya Melaka dishes when we travel back to Malaysia in mid October, 2022. I like to expand this area to cover my immediate family and people we meet in our travel. This is where lifestyle comes in – combining people of all cultures and races into a melting pot of food and flavors everyone can relate to.

Our human interests will also include humanitarian work Shane is particularly passionate about. We have started this journey in Malaysia and also within our home in the USA. He wishes to contribute to societies in places we live and visit and I will ride along beside him to support and do whatever I can.
