Joining Shane for his indoor track and field meet at University of Idaho was a great experience. It was also one of his former alma maters so I got a little tour there. Bonus was when he gave me a surprise!

We didn’t expect much of Jogyakarta except a city to hop to Borobudur temples. This visit came as a pleasant surprise. A trip to the city center started with a car ride and then a walking tour to experience the sights and sounds of Jogya.

Our plan to make my grandparents’ vacant house into our second home in Malaysia was abandoned. I didn’t have a backup plan for lodging so here are all the short term rental woes we experienced.

View moreShane and I found our favorite Japanese Restaurant at Citta Mall. Sushi Zanmai has some amazing varieties of delicious sushi and sashimi and we are inspired with the food presentation. One big bonus for us – they have the real Japanese wasabi for us to try and it was indeed a culinary experience!

Getting involve in our communities at home and in our travels. We work with marginalized populations. Our mission is to improve the health and well being of people that cross our path, making our world a better place to live.
Shane and I have been giving out food and blankets to the homeless people in downtown Spokane since November 2020. We started offering fresh fruits and salads since September through donations from various sources. We want to thank our bible study group for their contribution in purchasing Mylar blankets.
