We have been getting donated fresh fruits, salads and sandwiches for the past few days and immediately distribute them to the homeless. Unlike Shane, I’m new to this work and feel upset when I found out some of them cannot bite on apples because they have dentures or no teeth. It breaks my heart to see so many people in need of help and listened to how they responded warmly to Shane. One Asian woman politely asked Shane if she could have two salads for her and her husband. She could be me, just down on her luck. Wish we could do more for our community.
