Easter Egg Hunt 2021 is extra special because our adopted daughter, Yasmin in here from Michigan. This is her first time hunting Easter eggs and Kiel is eager and excited to help her. But first he and his brother Aaron have a go at the egg hunting first. Great excitement with more eggs and presents for everyone. See photos of Kiel 'helping' Yasmin.
Shane and I have been giving out food and blankets to the homeless people in downtown Spokane since November 2020. We started offering fresh fruits and salads since September through donations from various sources. We want to thank our bible study group for their contribution in purchasing Mylar blankets.
Kiel's little adventure in the snow sees him all geared up in his winter wear exploring the road leading up to the hiking trail. He knows how to get there and it is fun exploring everything with his 4 year old eyes. We check out the manhole, excavator and even discover animal paw prints! Imaginative and full of wonderful 'adventure' with gramma.
Feeding the hungry and the homeless community in Spokane, Washington as best as we can with whatever we could find from our city. Thanks for donated fruits and salad, we were able to distribute healthy meals to people in need.
Covid-19 pandemic and social distancing was tough for everyone especially for our grandson. We finally agreed to reunite and have eggs hunting in May because of the good, warm weather. It was good to feel free and see happy face and excitement on Kiel. We are so happy to be with our family again.
In Malaysia, new mothers have help to take care of them and their newborns. Kasandra is determined to be independent and we are happy when she finally agrees to have us babysit our two grandsons. How difficult can it be right? We are so wrong - these 2 months old and 3 years old dictate our lives for 3 days and 2 nights!
I LOVE designing photobook and especially for our grandson, Kiel. It was such a joy to watch his facial reactions when he opened his birthday book and sees his photos on all the pages. Mission accomplished. Happy boy.
We took care of our grandson, Kiel while his mom was at the hospital to deliver her baby. Kiel had so many fun activities and we even brought him to the library. Kiel visited baby Aaron in a doctor's scrub costume and it was cuteness overloaded. He was so gentle and amazed at his little brother. Welcome to the world, Aaron. Kiel, you're a big brother now!
Halloween is fun when we have a 3 year old grandson to celebrate with. We were dressed up as The Incredibles, he was the hunter, dad's the big bad wolf and mom was the Little Red Riding Hood. I even bake spider cookies. It's great to see children walking the street trick-or-treating with their bigger siblings or parents.
When your baby sister (no matter how old she gets) bought a new house and wishes for a yoga deck as a house gift, big brother drove 8 hours to make it happen! We spent 7 days working on the decks and it was a great feeling to see how happy Maureen looked on the final reveal. The yoga decks are under the the blue spruce overlooking the creek.
