Updates on Bali Kids Project 2024 and the community work Shane and Alice had done for the children of Tenganan Village, Bali, Indonesia. Come meet and mingle at the Shadle Park Library in Spokane and get a sampler taste of Balinese cuisine.

Atelier1612 – Saying Goodbye
Atelier1612 was a company I set up back in the 2008. I have held on to this name for various of reasons; mainly I guess because it has been an entity I have had to fight for and work hard to succeed.
A Day with a Head Starter
Joining Shane for his indoor track and field meet at University of Idaho was a great experience. It was also one of his former alma maters so I got a little tour there. Bonus was when he gave me a surprise!

A walking tour in the city of Kotagede silversmith center brought us to our final destination – Kotagede HS Silversmith Gallery and Workshop. Beautiful artistry work showcasing their city’s famed old tradition of using filigree designs into their art pieces.
Jogyakarta, a Walking Tour
We didn’t expect much of Jogyakarta except a city to hop to Borobudur temples. This visit came as a pleasant surprise. A trip to the city center started with a car ride and then a walking tour to experience the sights and sounds of Jogya.
Short Term Rental Woes

Monkey Trail, Ao Nang
This 10 to 15 minutes Monkey Trail on rickety wooden steps take you away into a quiet, tropical jungle with the occasional monkeys hanging on the trees and walls at the entrance. With sea on one side, this trail leads to a secluded beach.
